My exhibition opening Start Friday, May 14, 2010 at 6:30pm at the George Hotel Eshowe with a coffee shop opening, live music and lingerie show.
Eshowe is amazing…there are not always fireflies in the jungle but there are 65 types of birds that make a lot of noise, plenty hornbills, 80 types of butterflys, little special things like the the pinwheel snail, bushpigs, a tribe of miniture blue duiker, monkeys and orchid clad vines. Come make see for yourself if you dont believe me!
My new gallery in the George Hotel slap bang in the middle of the jungle has allowed me to create a unique gallery space. To launch this I have arranged an amazing weekend starting Friday evening 14th of May at 6.30pm .The opening of the gallery with works by Jacki Brinuquel, my new Eco-muse series and other amazing artworks as well as the opening of the Mama Zulu Coffee House that I just built….with Lingerie by Goddess Factor. Clive Gumede will perform songs from his Luther van Dross tribute, Karen van Pletzen will perform songs from Gecko Moon, Dave Starke will perform songs from his new album… all this next to the swimming pool so bring a costume. Entrance is free but book accomodation in the hotel early as it is filling fast, prices vary from R140 in the backpackers to R700 for the new larny rooms I decorated…phone reception on 0354744919 to book. I highly recommend this program. Here are the pics taken during my journey from Cape Town to Bethlehem:

Shosholosa Meyl is the cleanest means of transport I’ve taken so far in Africa. It’s even safer than French TGVs.
Old Mill Drift Mountain Resort is the wonderful place to be!
Khadija
I think this chick Khadija is biased “about” Pete and his ventures!!! I hope you still happily in “like”.
Did your liver survive the festive season?

All looks lovely. I am still trying to take a break. Next year this time I am not even going to be in the country, I swear. Never again.
*Christmas storm caused massive mudslide into pool at Khaya. Emptied only 10 days later -now empty crater with brown stained walls with half a meter of mud still to be removed from the bottom. Insurance had BETTER come to the party.
*Soak pit at Bluff chose new Years Eve to implode and let lose its 20 year treasure so spent next 2 days in company of Zim plumber and big fat “Honeysucker”, right under noses of downstairs guests
* Game Gogo goes swimming with grand daughter. Forgot my age and how rough and tough Bluff sea is – got severely dumped (nearly drowned) by massive wave – sprained my knee. Not to mention the indignity of my tits going one way and the swimming contraption going the other as I was ignominiously tumbled to the shore. Thank God I was not in Umhlanga
*12 arrogant and demanding Italians descend on Lodge for 4 days at a days notice. Money too good to say no. Staff ignored my frantic calls to summons them back. Managed with one temp. Are heads going to roll on Monday or WHAT?! On last day I got paid R21000 in R100 notes in a white panama hat. Reminiscent of Hobbs wedding. Mila’s eyes nearly popped out of her head. Be a long time before I can plead poverty to her again.
*Passing on the party. Taking a sleeping pill and going ZZZzzzz
